So, what did Joey's want for their website? They wanted a place for soon-to-be custard fans and visitors to learn about their offerings and for locals to stay in the loop on the latest flavors and menu updates. They also wanted a social media feed where customers could share their experience in real-time and showcase all their 5-star Google reviews. And of course, they wanted the site to have a laid-back, island vibe that matched the style of the shop.
The challenge: As Joey's Custard established itself as a beloved community hangout and local staple since its opening in 2016, offering over 50 flavors of custard and more, it was time to elevate its website to reflect the high quality and unique style of the store. The challenge was to design a modern digital experience while maintaining the relaxed, familiar island vibe that has become synonymous with Joey's Custard. Additionally, with a constantly rotating menu, it was important to find an efficient solution to keep the online menu current and up-to-date.
Getting to know Joey's Custard: Our team at After Seven was already familiar with Joey's, so getting up to speed was a breeze. Joey's wanted a website that was a one-stop-shop for newcomers and visitors to learn about their offerings and for locals to stay updated on the latest flavors and menu items.
